The Simple Cause of Depression (And How to Beat It)

 WHY DEPRESSION?

I won't be doing a scientific analysis here, as I'm a layman. So, I will speak in a layman's language and convey my thoughts through a simple quote:

"When we do 'don'ts' and don't do 'dos,' we encounter depression." -Swami Mohit

In simple words, to live a happy life without any regrets, we must be very clear about our "dos" and "don'ts." We must also be aware of the consequences if we deviate from them. Our own irresponsible actions can land us in situations where we get stuck and see no way out. This becomes the primary reason for our frustration. When we refuse to change our behavior and expect everything else to change on its own, the situation becomes even worse. This prolonged frustration and anxiety can then become the root cause of depression.

So, if we want to avoid this deadly situation, it is of utmost importance that we do what we should, and it's even more crucial that we avoid what we shouldn't. If we do deviate, we must be mentally prepared for the consequences and accept the outcome. This is because misery doesn't appear out of nowhere; most of it is created by us.
On the other hand, we have the power to save ourselves from depression. If we find ourselves in this situation, we have all the means to overcome and beat it. But first, we must accept our situation and take responsibility for it. We must also understand that if we have created this mess, then we also have the capability to overcome this mental condition.
Life is beautiful. It should not be wasted under any circumstances. Love your life and every life around you.

Good luck and have a wonderful life.
