First, when you become angry, you cross the line from sanity into the realm of insanity. If you cross that line regularly, there may come a day when you cannot find your way back.
Second, you suffer far more than your victims do. Why put yourself through that—especially when you are the one creating the misery?
Third, when you allow external situations to dictate your actions, your body and mind become conditioned to react that way. Eventually, when a crisis hits, your mind and body may simply cease to function effectively.
These points are manageable as long as we remain sane. It is vital to stay conscious and in control so we don't create a situation where we eventually lose our minds.
